Since years collectors wait for it. Finally it became reality: World's first search engine for stamps is on the market. This is due to Franz Fedra, general manager of "Philagenta", a German agency specialized in international stamp business.
As you will know it can take years until a collector find the stamp, cover or mail stamp that ist missing in his collection. That's where the search engine is a great help. Collectors can look through the lists unter the most different criterions as i.e. countries, motives, destinations or mail stamps. And - best about all - they can do it at home, just using the internet. How this terrific machine works, "Philagenta" presented for the first time at "Philatelia", the important stamp fair of Cologne. As far as we know, more than one spectator was deeply impressed.
